"Great and wonderful owner. He seems so kind and take care of us very well. He has upgraded my room booked upstairs to downstairs. It looks vey convenient for us the elders and I feel like home so happy and so warm. I will recommend this lodge to my friends if they want to stay in Christchurch."

"The motel was great. Close proximity to transport and shops. Bed was comfortable, kitchenette was handy to have. Carpet in room was a little tired. Reception friendly and helpful. Had a minor issue with the heat pump and it was attended to immediately and we were also given a heater. Perhaps a small chest of drawers in the bedroom to store clothing and a broom and/or a dustpan and brush would be helpful. Enjoyed our five day stay and will return to the V Motel. It’s a great place. "

"We stayed for a night before leaving New Zealand in a two-bedroom with 4 really nice and comfortable beds. Very friendly owner. Free WiFi. Slightly old bathroom and living room, but very comfy beds with warm electric blankets in every bed. Cabinet full of dishes and glasses makes it convenient to eat in the living room/dining room area.
