The room was large, comfortable and clean. The staff was responsive and helpful. It is quiet and located within walking distance of the botanical garden, museums and restaurants.
Small b&b that was well looked after with good sized rooms that were quiet. Walking distance to main area of Christchurch with multiple transport options out the front. Also very conveniently located near the botanical gardens.
Very good location from the centre: 10 minutes walking distance. Clean and staff was good. Restaurants, cafés can be found within 5-10 minutes walking.
Great space close to city centre. Wonderful to have a homely room with kitchenette and space to move for the week I was woeking in Christchurch.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Location was good, only a short walk to the city centre. Room was fairly small but all amenities were provided. The property looks a bit old and tired, but it was comfortable enough for a short stay.
Realky well located, easy walking and on the tram route too. Lots of places to eat nearby. You have to visit Riverside! Had a fab Indonesian meal there.
Staff helpful at hotel and good laundry service for 15 dollars a bag.

Construction Next door started at 7am...breakfast was good..great location..very walkable.
Lovely boutiques hotel with clean amenities and helpful staff. Very close to everything Christchurch offers and walking distance to botanical garden and city centre. Rooms are decent size with a small but usable kitchen. Definitely recommended.
Lovely place. Clean, quiet and within walking distance of every convenience. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Only potential issue was the parking area, which was overflowing the first night, and blocked us in the next morning for a while.
This is a hidden gem of a place! We stayed in the motel portion behind the B&B and they are very nice and quiet. Plenty of room, stocked amenities in the kitchenette, comfy bed, very hot water, a/c if you need it. Patio doors open to a secluded, sunny area to relax. Hard to find at first with a hidden driveway. We had to drive around the block twice and then just enough spots for the guests. Very walkable to city center. We'd stay here again!
Upper unit in the motel which is behind the B&B. Roomy, clean, nice balcony, well-appointed. We were given an early check-in which we really appreciated. Next door is construction site but it did not intrude on the quiet. Parking on site.
The motel was spacious and located in a very convenient location within walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Free Netflix is available. There was no heater available in the bathroom so it was freezing at night but we would definitely stay again. Thank you!
The place was stunning — extremely spacious and clean, easily walkable to everything we were planning to do.
The host lacked empathy. We hit an impasse on check in when she had two records for us checking in and I only had one. In the end it was my fault, but as she kept repeating “it’s not my fault” at check in instead of helping me figure out what went wrong was extremely frustrating. Each of our experiences with her were met with a similar lack of empathy, including when she saw me hunting for my gasses and walked away saying “I didn’t know where they are.” I don’t expect to become friends with my host, but these interactions made me feel uncomfortable staying there.
I loved the location and the room, again it was my fault, but her lack of caring is what I’ll remember about what us an otherwise wonderful place.
