"If you prefer a B & B experience over staying at a hotel, Dennis and Pam provide that. The facility is clean and comfortable and well maintained. Dennis and Pam and their dog Ralph are welcoming and hospitable. And it’s a short walk to local eateries. Breakfast was good and plentiful."

"Service was very friendly and helpful. The upgrade was appreciated and the fact that I could checkin earlier after a long flight. Location is great close to a bakery in what seems like a good neighborhood. Bed was comfortable , heater in the bathroom was great Z soap, conditioner and shampoo provided. Maybe the only thing I would change is not charge extra for laundry as it’s off putting."

"The unit was super comfortable with quality fittings and bedding, fit provides everything we needed including good kitchenette facilities. The parking is secured at night with key entry which was a pleasant surprise. Location is wonderful with an easy walk to restaurants, the town centre and the new stadium. "We had a great stay at The Observatory in Christchurch. It’s a beautiful hotel—formerly a university—and they’ve preserved the original aesthetic, which gives it a lot of character. The photos honestly don’t do it justice; it’s even more stunning in person. The room and bathroom were very spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. The location is also very convenient. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"Property isn't manned! But easy to access. Very limited parking ie 2 plus a disability space but I think it could be hard to get out if all were used unless you reversed up the driveway. There was plenty of parking on the road outside in the evening. New builds across the road mean you aren't getting a lie in atm! Room itself was lovely and well equipped. BUT if you plan to spend any time in the evening in your room watching TV its at the complete wrong angle to lie on the bed and watch!...

"Parking tight as motel was full. Close to casino and town. TV options poor. Says SKY but very limited. Staff noisy around 7:30am. No consideration if you want a sleep in. "

"Our room staff were very good. Always made up the room to a nice standard, clean and tidy. Our main gripe was the exorbitant room rates for a room that didn’t even supply a basic Sky connection but relied on you having an app to cover your in room viewing. Very high rate considering there were at least twenty motel units within 800 meters with vacancy’s. Will say the gardens and pool area were nicely kept."

"Good location and close to Victoria Rd eateries. Bathroom a bit small and no dish washer. Otherwise okay for stays. It has lifts to fist and second floors for easy access to rooms."
