Good area

The owners need to install blinds on doors that are exterior to other areas. Also too much light for sleeping.

Great location...be sure to get the check in code

The room was beautiful and comfortable, and the location was perfect. We had problems checking in because we arrived late and there was no one there. A nearby hotel was kind enough to provide assistance so I could use my phone to check emails. It took quite a while to finally get to our room, but the hotel obliged when I requested a discount. The email with the entrance code said “confirm if you receive this email,” and I didn’t, so the hotel should have followed up. However, all’s well that ends well. I would stay there again knowing how it works.

Sua casa no Casco Viejo

Recomendamos!

Cute in an ideal location

The location of this apartment was ideal! Walkable to restaurants and bars and a $5 Uber ride to the city. We were kindly upgraded to the rooftop suite for the first 2 nights of our stay and then moved to apartment 4 for the last night, all 3 honored at the lower rate which was a pleasant surprise. Both apartments were adorable...well equipped, cute tiles and furnishings, and very spacious. The only complaint we had was the floors could have been cleaner. It was a little difficult to communicate with the owner due to the language barrier but the emails through hotels.com made it easier. Unfortunately, responses were not always timely. That said, we probably would not have needed to reach her during our stay if we didn’t have to change rooms. We really loved the overall stay and I would definitely recommend Casa Maralta!

Bom gosto e bem localizada

Great, can’t be beat location. The problem I had was with my room, there was a large frosted window to the other room, when the guest would turn on their light it was like a spotlight in mine. Made for very restless nights. I emailed about a room change but never heard back, once your card is swiped you are pretty much on your own.

Nice hotel

The hotel is really nice with great atmosphere. Know that this is an apartment hotel with no front desk services. I had a hopefully uniquely unfortunate experience in that a representative of the hotel never met with me. Otherwise, it was great. Great location in Casco Viejo.

Charm in Casco

A lovely old house converted to hotel in el Casco Antiguo. The rooms are nicely appointed and very spacious. You'll feel like you've gone back in time, but with all the modern amenities. And all the shopping and dining in the neighborhood is just a few minutes walk away. We'd go back anytime!
