"We had the pleasure of staying at AGH Pantheon with a balcony. The view was incredible. We loved having a drink on the balcony while people watching or listening to a violinist in the piazza. The location is central to everything. The hotel is located between Osteria Fortunata & a butcher shop. It’s a beautiful door with the number 5 above it."

"No better place to stay in Rome. Short walk to all major sites in Rome. Communal kitchen worked well, although not my preference. Ursula is the most wonderful host I have ever had."

"Great location, comfortable bed, lovely hotel. We appreciated the helpful staff and proximity to great restaurants!"

"Room was clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful with housing luggage & explaining how to get in & out of building. That location couldn't be better! Right by the Pantheon & best crème expresso, & Gioloti. Great expirience with this hotel."

"First of all the entrance is daunting. Everything is by keypad. As a 71 year old once we entered through the old door from the street using the key pad we found ourselves having to carry the luggage up a extra long flight of stairs to get to the rickety old elevator to take us to the fifth floor. "Absolutely fantastic property great view of the city from our hotel room. The staff was fantastic and very easy to work with they gave us all the directions we needed through ‎WhatsApp I would highly recommend staying there."

"Hotel Smeraldo is an excellent hotel to stay at, especially if you love being in the city center. The staff was very accommodating and so friendly. The hotel rooftop bar was very nice and that staff was exceptional as well. Would definitely recommend Hotel Smeraldo-Rome to everyone!"

"Amazing location we have stayed in many times. Staff is professional and makes us feel so welcome. Wonderful rooftop bar. Rooms are perfect for a stay in central Rome."

"Fantastic place to stay— starting your day on the rooftop with breakfast and Bri g a short (5-15 min) walk from all the major sites and great restaurants made the time in Rome do much more relaxing. We loved this hotel so much we changed our reservation in Florence to stay at the sister hotel — loved it! Rooms were modern but in beautifully maintained old building — we loved looking at the ceiling in our room that was preserved. Couldn’t recommend it more for a stay in Rome where siteseeing is...

"This was a beautiful apartment! The location was a perfect walk in either direction to the best areas. I would definitely stay here again. The amenities, thoughtful welcome gift, the turndown service was all top notch!"

"Great"

"What a gem of a place just off campo de fiori square. Something really special for a romantic break. We had a top floor room with a balcony and a gorgeous view."
