Rooms were clean, hotel staff very helpful. Rooms however are very dated abd need upgrading. Simple things in bathrooms like new tap fittings will make a huge difference. Also the smallest beds and pillows ever seen un a 4-5 star hotel. And why only one pillow per person??? Location very good and convenient to train and many local shops. Breakfast buffet quite basic and nothing special in range of food especially for westerners.

I stayed here before as I came to Japan for business. Close to train station and shopping mall was nice. This time was with my husband. We didn’t want to stay in busy area but this hotel was perfect. Only few stop away from Nanba. We got to experience ride train.

I stay almost every year one week in the Agora Regency Sakai Hotel. It is a nice hotel with kind staff. Unfortunately the inventory and the rooms slowly show their age. A renovation is needed. Sleep comfort was very good.

The hotel is right off the Nankai line Sakai stop. So it’s very convenient connection, particularly for those flying to or from Kansas airport. The brew buffet was terrific. Staff was helpful and cheery. This hotel is getting a bit aged and there are some signs it may be due for a refresh. But the room was incredibly spacious especially for Japanese standards. Bathroom was great. Lovely view of the harbor. Would stay here again!

My visit to Sakai

I spent 10 nights in the hotel..staff were very helpful at all times..Room was cleaned twice a day..Hotel is comfortable, very clean with lots of options for dinning..it is also very close to a big train station with direct access to Kansai airport..a shopping Mall nearby and a supermarket as well.
