"This was the nicest place we stayed in Sicily. The staff was absolutely the friendliest and best. They gave us free complimentary breakfast each day. Make sure to ask for an ocean-view room with balcony - absolutely stunning vistas, and you can go out and swim in the crystal-clear warm blue waters or sun on the rocks. Hotel is in Ortigia, the trendy island that was ancient Syracuse, walking distance to wonderful restaurants, shops, outdoor cafes, gelato, and all the important archeological sites of Syracuse. This place was a gem! Parking was available nearby. One small warning: no elevator, and rooms are up two or three flights of stairs, but they carry luggage up stairs to you room for free. They also help with getting a shuttle or cab, tour reservations and recommendations. They even have free bicycles you can use to explore the city."

"Every traveller in the last 4 years or so will have noticed the insanely abusive increase in worldwide accomodation pricing often doubling or tripling what rooms cost 5 years ago. After 20 days of travel between turkey and sicily i would say this hotel was by far the greatest value for the money spent. Impeccably curated in every detail, elegant decoration. Comfortable rooms and cleanliness. The restaurant is great too. I would stay here again every time i return to Siracusa. Highly recommend. "

"The rooms are stunningly decorated, comfortable beds, great air conditioning, very clean. The common area are also breathtaking. The staff are also amizng and helped us book transportation and arranged a beach club day. This location is also close to all shopping and great dinning. The included breakfast was also great. "

We were leaving before breakfast so they offered to pack us a breakfast box to go, which was a nice touch and was perfect for our train ride. Our sea view room was amazing. You should stay here!"

"Such a gorgeous, elegant and luxurious hotel – new and modern but also tasteful and classic, and even better than we had expected. The location is incredible, directly across the road from the steps down to Spiaggia di Cala Rossa, and the option for paid valet parking made it so easy to arrive/check in/check out. Ortigia is small so everything is very walkable after arrival, and we felt like we had the best possible location in town – right on the water but so close to everything. Our room was so comfortable and cool, with views across to the sea – it’s clever to have the window raised above eye level so there’s privacy but also beautiful natural light and the view. All the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed a stunning aperitivo in the evening, and breakfast in the morning. Overall, Maniace Boutique Hotel is up there with some of the loveliest modern five-star hotels we’ve stayed at around the world."
