"Lovely stay with helpful staff. Our room was huge and had a sea view. It’s located right near the ramparts and you can stroll along the water or take a short walk into town. Breakfast and aperitivo on the terrace were well done. We parked on the street, just down from the hotel. Download the app- you can pay/add time from your phone, plus many other cities in Sicily use the same app which was convenient. "

"The property is the the last line to the beach, so we rent a car. Even if there was parking in the description, our standard sedan couldn’t get into the parking and we were told that only car as Fiat Uno can. We had to pay 10Euro per parking day outside. You can use the washing machine which was helpful for we travelled hand luggage only. Apartment was large and had everything you needed, even a friendly cat that would visit the garden! "This past visit July 2025 will mark our third consecutive summer stay at this gem of a hotel. We continue to enjoy the spacious accommodations and friendly staff. Like a sightly faded beauty, this 50 something year old hotel certainly can use an update , and we have been advised that is in progress. However you cannot beat the spaciousness and slightly faded grandeur of this beautiful property. The hotel is situated on what I believe to be one the ‘most’ gorgeous and picturesque of the entire Taormina area. The private grotto beach and pool areas are spectacular as is the view of Mount Etna from the buffet breakfast terrace. "
