What has really made this place outstanding is its staff. It is now being led by the wonderful Sandy who is a delight beyond words with a proficiency that's out of this world. As many have said she is a force to be reckoned with and makes this place feel like a home befitting its name! Thank you Hometown studios once again for such a wonderful staff.

The hotel is close to everything, they are very helpful with anything you need in your room, pool and laundry room are open 24 hours, the only down fall is that they are picky about the way you park and you always have to have your pass in your car no matter what. Other then that I would stay again and recommend it too.

Staff has the manners of a five stars hotel. They're awesome! The company needs to invest a little more in the hotel infrastructure and maintenance. Easy parking and fast check-in. Excellent price.

Staff was very friendly but the environment was horrible, there was people sitting outside that were drunk, poop outside on the floor, and a roach in the fridge. This is a home stay and not a hotel which I didn’t notice at the time of reserving.

Staff very cheerfu, helpful and professional. The property horrendous infested with german cockroaches. Health hazard. The floor was covered with dirts and blood stain upon check in. Roaches crawling everywhere from the bathroom sinks to fridge and bedroom floor..

Rooms were alright, Staff was absolutely fantastic and helpful! There is large gaps in the door which lets in outside air, noise, bugs, the bugs left me and my stuff alone so it was more like exploring bugs, scouts and what not, etc Beds were comfortable and AC worked well, tub, shower, sink and fridge all excellent. Area was commercial warehouse area so big truck noises some times during the week at various hours. Somewhat inconvenient to get anywhere (mostly toll roads, highway, and one road for bus access to florida mall, then plenty of options from there including direct line to disney or universal or the airport). Wendy's Burger King and some typical chains near the Florida Mall, no real grocery or such nearby. Overall an alright stay for the price, if you have your own car it's pretty central location to everything.

The front desk staff I spoke with were all very nice. The bed was amazingly comfortable as well as the pillows. My feet were black from being barefoot on the hardwood floors. Roaches in the freezer (alive). Used condom between the sink and wall in the bathroom. Only a single lock on the door. There was an extra latch but no where to connect it. Property very outdated and dingy. There wasn’t even a trash can. People live on property with no courtesy. They were outside all night and loud. Stomping around on the floor above at all hours. At one point it sounded like someone was messing with the door but I didn’t get out of bed to check.

Bad points: The room was very run down. The bathroom door broke and didn’t lock. TV remote control with no battery; I went to reception to ask for it, and the people didn’t bother, just said no. I had to buy batteries myself. The kitchen cabinet door is falling apart, and the horrible smell of weed is coming all the time coming from other rooms. Good points. Close to the airport. Well located. Close to restaurants and fast food restaurants. Overall, the place has potential. It just needs better management to deal with all these issues.

ROACHES TO THE 100TH POWER

At check in I had to ask an attendant for a broom to sweep out the room. The AC vent was broken and was completely off the unit laying on the floor in front of it. The dresser drawers were open and could not be closed. I went back to check in and ask for a different room and the attendant did give me another without any problems. He was a nice guy. I was placed in room 137, which was much cleaner. At night I felt something crawling on me and when I turned on the lights and all I saw was roaches having a meeting all over the floor. I was now on edge. I had to endure this for 7 days... It was a first 48 scene. I was on a killing spree. After leaving the room and rentering, I start noticing a awful smell. The place smelled mildew. My clothes that I had in the room had to be tossed out. I am so glad that there were no bed bugs. That ordeal is over now but as God as my witness, I will never recommend anyone to stsy at this place ever...
