What is great about Hometowns Orlando South is the beautiful and always welcoming smile of Latoya at the front desk whose knowledge and service is beyond excellent alongside the always warm and gracious Brenetta and Taj who checks rooms every week without fail and has become quite an addition to this team AND Janetta who oversees ALL! Such a great crew has earned Hometowne the highest rating! Not to mention of course my room is spotless and in perfect order with everything working smoothly. And if there IS a problem it is taken care of immediately as well thanks to everyone mentioned above. Hometowns IS a home and once again I thank Thomas and the powers that be for keeping it that way!!! Great stay ..... all the way!!! Ira

Very friendly staff! Linens were very clean Moldy shower curtain Terrible stain in the toilet A few bugs present Sticky floor Window curtain too short, passersby could look into the room and it let the sunlight shine into the room Elevator looked like a crime scene

There is a horrible woman in the office that has been nasty to me on several occasions over the last few months. Never again will I stay at this location because of her. I highly recommend the Casselberry location if you are coming to the orlando area.

The first room was disgusting. Bugs, stained/unclean sheets and dirty mattress. After transferring to a second room it was the same situation. We were finally transferred to a third room and it was safe to sleep in at first woke up to roaches. Staff were very helpful and delightful. Never stay here unless you like dirty sheets to sleep in and “friends” to take home with you.

The staff were really kind I will say that but other than that, if I could give this place 0 stars I would. The entire hotel area looked trashed. I thought it was kind of odd that I was told we take our own trash out (no trash bags btw) and if we didn’t we’d be charged our $100 deposit…. There was FECES outside of the toilet on the ground, bathtub was peeling & stained & baby ROACHES in the sink… also the entire place smelled like urine. I’m not sure if this was an extended stay but that’s what it was giving. Again nothing vs the staff bc the two ladies I spoke with were super sweet and I hope this place pays them decent bc I know the customers they’re coming across are sketch. Overall, even as cheap as I am lol I would never go back… if I’m able to post photos I will.

Once again,such a great front desk led by the most caring and friendly Sandy with the help of Tonya, Jorge, Angelo, and the ever so efficient Janetta. I have never had any problems here thanks to such a great staff always smiling and engaging. And the place itself is clean and quiet with a great cleaning staff as well. And once again I want to thank the manager Marta for hiring such great people and maintaining this great feeling here at Hometowne!

What has really made this place outstanding is its staff. It is now being led by the wonderful Sandy who is a delight beyond words with a proficiency that's out of this world. As many have said she is a force to be reckoned with and makes this place feel like a home befitting its name! Thank you Hometown studios once again for such a wonderful staff.

You ask “what stood out“ in your review promos? Today it is Latoya all the way! What a delight! I would just say to anyone if they have any troubles or need anything…between Latoya and Sandy, you will not have troubles here. I know I have mentioned Sandy in other reviews because she is just so wonderful. And now, with Latoya at her side, what a winning team! Both so engaging and helpful! Just superb! Once again, Marta and hometown studios are hiring the best staff providing the best service! You have continued to make my stay here a delight. Xx

There is something special happening here at Hometowne Studios South! Consistently, the managers have hired a staff that is beyond sublime working overtime to make this more than just a hotel and an extended stay facility. I must once again thank the amazing and loving Sandy, who makes it her job to make you feel more than just a customer. She touches your heart and soul and is truly spectacular as is Latoya, who is just so gracious and humane and Jorge who engages with his warmth and Janetta who made sure from day one that I could complete the work I came here to do. Thank you all! And a final thanks to manager Marta and her bosses too for creating such a love-in. Yes, The rooms are great but the people, even better!! You have all gone BEYOND in your care and blessed are those who get to come here and bathe in it! And yes…..I’m back!xx

Would not recommend staying here. While the staff was friendly and did the best they could, the room conditions are fine at first glance but slowly turned out to be a stressful stay. Upon first entry, the smoke alarm wouldn’t stop chirping every 2 min. Turns out there was no battery in it and that was fixed but after hours of waiting. The biggest issue was that the shower didn’t work in our room and after contacting the front desk about it they acknowledged the issue but there was no sense of urgency. Nothing happened until we contacted them again and were told a part needed to come in and that it would be fixed the next morning. It was never fixed for the remainder of our stay. We then saw bugs in the room including roaches, got a parking violation for backing into a spot? And our key cards would randomly stop working requiring us to have to go to the front desk and get them reactivated. The only pros of the room were the AC, TV, and large refrigerator/freezer. Other than that the experience of staying here stressed us out and i would not recommend staying here if relaxing or showering is your goal.

Rooms were alright, Staff was absolutely fantastic and helpful! There is large gaps in the door which lets in outside air, noise, bugs, the bugs left me and my stuff alone so it was more like exploring bugs, scouts and what not, etc Beds were comfortable and AC worked well, tub, shower, sink and fridge all excellent. Area was commercial warehouse area so big truck noises some times during the week at various hours. Somewhat inconvenient to get anywhere (mostly toll roads, highway, and one road for bus access to florida mall, then plenty of options from there including direct line to disney or universal or the airport). Wendy's Burger King and some typical chains near the Florida Mall, no real grocery or such nearby. Overall an alright stay for the price, if you have your own car it's pretty central location to everything.

The front desk staff I spoke with were all very nice. The bed was amazingly comfortable as well as the pillows. My feet were black from being barefoot on the hardwood floors. Roaches in the freezer (alive). Used condom between the sink and wall in the bathroom. Only a single lock on the door. There was an extra latch but no where to connect it. Property very outdated and dingy. There wasn’t even a trash can. People live on property with no courtesy. They were outside all night and loud. Stomping around on the floor above at all hours. At one point it sounded like someone was messing with the door but I didn’t get out of bed to check.
