"Perfect location for our overnight stay after visiting Cadbury World - just a 3 minute drive with free parking.
We had a triple room with 3 single beds with plenty of room for us all. Room was clean although a couple of the towels had stains on them.
Restaurant unfortunately wasn’t serving their regular dinner menu only a limited bbq so we went elsewhere for dinner. Breakfast was lovely and worth the money before checking out.
All staff we encountered were nice and polite - would 100% stay...

"Very efficient, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The surrounding area felt a bit run down and unsafe. However the train station was nearby and there are several bus routes available. "
"The Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5.
The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite.
The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. If you need to drive into the city centre from the hotel at peak times this will take about an hour.

"Everything was perfect, the room was so big and nice, the bathroom was amazing, and they even gave gowns, towels, a hair dryer and an iron. The pillows and bed were exceptional too. My only gripe was that the TV wasn't a smart TV so you couldn't watch netflix or YouTube on it, other than that my stay was perfect."
"Lovely little guest house with the restaurant below it. The person at the checkout was welcoming and friendly, he brought my luggage up for me to my room which is really helpful because there's no lift, only stairs.
Food was delicious (Asian-approved spiciness) and staff was nice. On the Sat evening when I was there , there had been a live band playing outside the restaurant area, they had a stage for live performances. Lovely atmosphere with good food and music. Although if you're trying to...
"The room was okay. Bathroom is the most impressive part of the room. The £100 deposit is too much though. I have stay in lots of lots hotel in different countries I never have to pay for a deposit but this hotel."
"Really nice hotel, check in was quick and efficient. They allowed me to check in early without any fuss. Lobby itself has a coffee shop and a bar which is nice. The regular rooms are of a good size, beds are comfy. TV allows you to connect your phone to it, which is great as many hotels restrict this. Plenty of teas and coffees in the room. The only real downside I found during my stay was the shower head didn’t want to stay central and would’ve liked a little more heat from the shower....
