It's smaller than a prison cell! You had to bring all your luggage by foot, Because no elevator and front desk is on the second floor with many stairs between the ground and the front desk

I have stated this facility before in had no issues. My most recent day was a freaking nightmare. I arrived late after a long train ride.Just needed to spend the night so I could go to class in the morning. Che.\n Ck then went to bed about an hour and a 1/2 later, I woke up itching and scratching all over to the point that I couldn't sleep, I took 3 showers, no change. I go downstairs to the common area, do some work, try to stay awake, see how far I can make it only to find some random stranger sleeping in the couch with his bags. Bathroom was dirty.There was almost no attempt to clean it when I looked at the sheets.It seemed like they had been dirty with pelts and stuff on them.I Reached out to expedia , they couldn't do a thing

You get what you pay for! the staff was friendly, everything was fairly clean. the staff kept it clean but i noticed a lot of other visitors would leave the space kind of messy, especially hair and toothpaste residue in the bathroom. it is also worthy of note that the toilet paper dispenser sucks and is very odd, so make sure youre equipped in advance. you get one pillow, blanket, and a towel. i used my own towel because the towels are fairly new and do that thing where theyre linty and fuzzy BECAUSE theyre new. i found the temperature pretty perfect. one of the staff members, steve, was really friendly. The environment in common spaces with other guests at nice is so friendly and welcoming. my biggest issue was with another guest shuffling through plastic bags in their suitcase for ten minutes straight at midnight. not the hostel's fault, but a reminder to other guests to be a good human! in case you're worried about security, each room has a unique passcode and there is a staff member there 24/7

This hostel is getting big credits for its location and the kind men wiring behind the desk which helped me out quite a lot. Other than that I wasn’t too happy with my stay because of a few things: 1. Small rooms are definitely SMALL. Too small. Barely a suitcase fits in, fyi. And no windows, the room gets f stuffy!!! 2. The kitchen isn’t really equipped. Half of the time the utensils were missing, hot water wasn’t working, sink was dirty and the overall kitchen was kinda whatever. 3. I had two bookings bc of unavailability of the bigger room I wanted to stay in (which happens so it’s fine) but apparently you can only stay 14 days at a time, which the system didn’t get right when I booked my 20 days at a time separately. So after 11 days, they told me “btw you have to leave in a few days” which was very short notice and hard to find another place that quickly. I asked them for an experienced and the guys told me to send a message to support, which I did. To this day I haven’t gotten an answer from them personally and the guy behind reception simply told me there’s nothing he can do. They refunded my money, but that also took them forever. 4. (Which I guess you deal with in a hostel) but since the ceiling is open, you hear absolutely every f thing. Doors slap, snoring, phones, etc. 5. I was there during extreme cold. Their heater wasn’t working and we had ni hit water for 4 days without any kind of reimbursement. Big negative. You get the picture now and can see for yourself.

I would have rated my stay as EXCELLENT if it weren't for some `acting out` of staff that I witnessed and overheard although was likely exacerbated by being a VERY busy weekend of guests. I LIKE the Nolita and your rules are considerate of everyone; staff included. If I contributed to the aforementioned, it was only to voice in spirit re: condition the women's restroom was left with toilets unflushed on the very busy checkout of Sunday morning that made some of the spaces unusable. "Pick up after yourselves people; clean up after yourselves...nobody likes a litter bug!" I believe I voiced as positivity overall, but to have said `in spirit` in the moment instead of going to the check-in desk and voicing directly to the staff person, wasn't entirely the clean-line that Nolita aspires to. I am sure that can be a frustration, but within the community of hosteling is usually transcended. Thank you for your kindnesses AND reminder that none of us are perfect. I look forward to a future stay.

Central location, nice bodega guys across the street. Only oddity is that the room pods all share a ceiling so you will hear everything. There is no talking allowed in the pods (or you are fined) And there is no heat - they will charge you extra for blankets.
