Mario and Blanco were fantastic hosts from helping us during our very late arrivals, to a wonderful breakfast each morning, helping us with suggestions on where to go in Old Town, making our dinner reservation & transport to the airport. All were perfect! "

"The breakfasts were a highlight. We were always asked what time we wanted breakfast and each day we were greeted with a healthy, tasty and Ecuadorian breakfast and fresh juice. The hotel is conveniently located in the historic Old Town but on the outskirts so there is little noise. "Room was very clean, charming and comfortable. Interior of hotel is quiet. Rooms on front are much more exposed to street noise during the days. Hotel was very accommodating and arranged for transportation from airport and on to our next destination in Mindo. Breakfast was cooked to order, plentiful and delicious. We ordered dinner one night and it was excellent too. Rooftop offers gorgeous views. "

"I can't praise the staff enough, they, particularly Yale, went beyond the call of duty to assist us. Although, there are some stairs up to the rooms, help was available to carry our bags. The room was clean and tidy. I wish we could have spent a couple more nights."

"The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast delicious. This hotel was also in as great location! You have to use common sense at night time because the area becomes a little unsafe, but it’s perfectly fine during daytime. "

"Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury."

"The hotel has Amazing views of the surrounding hills & city . It is just 10 mins walk into the historical town downhill . We got very in expensive taxi back up the hill ! The restaurant is excellent serving local dishes and breakfast superb. However the best part of the stay was definitely the personnel . All staff were courteous & very helpful, however David on front desk was simply outstanding and could not have been more helpful- arranging /recommending tours ,visits and restaurants . I...

"This hotel is beautiful. The room was very comfortable, featuring premium sheets and towels. One thing to note is that there is no elevator. This wasn’t an issue for us, but if you have trouble with stairs, be sure to request a ground-floor room."
