"Room was lovely and clean and had a very large bathroom as well. Very well appointed in keeping with the theme of a Basilica . Felt slightly unsafe walking at nights in the area but taxis easily available and very reasonable "

"I wish our stay could have been longer! The suite is very big and comfortable. While retaining architectural features of the 200-year old building, it has all modern comforts. The kitchen is fully stocked for guests to make their own breakfast. Staff speak excellent English. Really really nice! "

"The hotel was amazing, set in a historical site. Loved that it was set in the middle of a small local market with multiple restaurants and souvenir shops. The breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious. The staff is so welcoming, helpful and nice. Rooms were clean and tidy as well as comfy. They set up our pick up and drop off from the airport and our guide was also amazing. Recommended 10/10! Will for sure stay here again. "

However, communication prior to the stay was very poor (taking days or weeks to respond, if at all) and then even though they confirmed in writing that they would pick us up from airport, they never showed up! "I very much enjoyed my stay at Casa Hotel Las Plazas and highly recommend it. A nice, comfortable room and the hotel is really well located within the Historic District. It is family owned and the best thing is the family itself which went out of their way to make me feel at home. Luis was extremely helpful with travel, directions and recommendations.
