"This was our PERFECT Salerno “launch pad” for the Amalfi Coast vacation. "At the very last minute we had to find accomodations for one night in Salerno. We were lucky enough to find Home 47 and the wonderful host. Gracious and welcoming. We were able to stash our bags for several hours after we had checked out. the best part however was the fantastic homemade breakfast! Thank you!"

"The location is within walking distance from the train and many of the sights of Salerno. It's on the main walking street of the town. And it is a few streets away from the waterfront walkway so it's walking distance to the ferry.There are many restaurants in the area. There is no lift to the third floor but the stairway wide and not steep. So the climb isn't too difficult. Davide is a frendly host. He was waiting for us when we arrived and was there for breakfast in the morning. He responded...

"Very nice large room with excellent bathroom. Small balcony an additional amenity. Only a few steps from the railway station and in the main pedestrianised shopping street. All very safe, convenient and smooth check in following easy communication with the host Alfonso. Salerno really grew on me during the trip. Easy to get into Naples. Salerno is the much more preferable city for me. Various excellent delis and cafes nearby. "
