Great lower priced stay. Very clean. A little far to walk to port etc but I am sure with more research buses could be found

Good for a night

We found the place without too much trouble. We were able to contact our hosts and met them at the property. The location was good for us, just a 10 minute stroll to train, vehicle hire, port etc. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and fruiterers shops in the area.

A unique type of "hotel". The room concept with a shared kitchen was great. You received biscuits and coffee but the equipment to have your own breakfast as well as space in a common fridge. Room was spacious with a view of the sea and private balconies. A great concept that suited our needs. Host was amazing.

Stayed at panoramic rooms for four nights as a solo traveller. The rooms are on the 7th floor via stairs or a lift. The room was clean and pleasant with access to a communal fridge and coffee making facilities. There is a breakfast room for a coffee and biscuit before you head out. Although I didn’t meet the owners they were very accommodating via WhatsApp for a taxi booking and a bus ticket. The main parts of the city are a 20 approx minutes walk as is the central station. I travelled to Erculano and Pompeii sites via train from Salerno easily. Also caught the Travelmar ferry to Amalfi about a 15 minute walk to get to it.

The room and communal area was very clean. The balcony was lovely to enjoy morning sun with a tea/coffee. We're were however disappointed that we'd asked in advance on our booking for the bed to be made as twin and it was made up as a double instead. I had to send a text to request toilet paper as the room ran out (there isn't any daily cleaning/bed making etc) and there was only green tea available for the first day which was disappointing for a tea drinker! The area is also a little out of the way in a very residential area with nothing really going on locally. To get into central Salerno you also have to go via a big long under pass road which I didn't like doing later at night in the dark. The property is very much just a room without any real service, we didn't see anyone from the property in our 3 night stay, check in and check out are both done without seeing anyone. It would have been great to ask a few questions etc. if someone had of been around. Overall for the price it's fine, just a little limited.

A nice and well kept place a little bit from the city centre but easily walkable (20 min walk to the old town). Clean and nice. Excellent service from the host.

We enjoyed the quiet, safe, clean room and kitchen. Staff very kind. My only suggestion for others is to get a good map as gps doesn't work well with the high buildings and we got lost a lot. We noticed a tourist office at the train station as we were leaving! We would have benefitted from a stop there as we arrived.

Great location

Excellent location on 7th floor with good views and 10 min walk from train station and 20 mins from tourist port where we could pick up boats to Amalfi etc. Spacious room which was very clean and use of kitchen area with fridge freezer where you could store food and drinks and make hot drinks. Never met the owner but her father popped over a few times with some great advice on places to visit locally
