"This was our PERFECT Salerno “launch pad” for the Amalfi Coast vacation. The train from Naples took us to the historic Salerno rail center and even with two rollable bags, the walk to The Holiday Guesthouse was an easy and mostly flat 12-minutes. "Hostess, Carmen, is excellent. Breakfast was phenomenal. Rooms were big, especially the master BR (We had the 2 BR unit). You walk up 1 long flight of stairs, there is no elevator. The B&B is located at the edge of the historic town. Only a 10-min walk to the cathedral (which is a must-see). Parking nearby was a challenge, but you can park closer to the port & walk 10-ish minutes. DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS to this property if you have a car.
