"There were some good points about our stay at Casablanca (location and patio on Charlotte St) but the other areas of disappointment made us say "never again." First off, I read the hotel website for details, reviewed their pictures and read their wording before deciding to stay at Casablanca. From their description "Guests enjoy two drink vouchers and a standard breakfast voucher for two per room, per day, good at our own in-house restaurant Nero’s Waterfront Cafe, and our Tini-Martini Bar." They announced upon arrival that guests who book through a third party such as Expedia, do not get this. The website pictures show both the Secret Garden and the "antique-filled common areas" - there are no common areas except 2 occasional chairs in a walkway by the check-in window and the secret garden Is basically a neglected outdoor area with odd old pieces of furniture, empty planters and odd tools. All the pictures on their website must have been taken many years ago, the entire property is very run down, poorly maintained, and neglected. There are new structures that look like new rooms being built in the area between the main house and the coach house buildings that completely obstruct any guest area that may have been there. In our room the toilet was not bolted down creating a very moving experience, the sink cabinet drawer didn't fit the drawer glides, and the old window AC unit was propped up by a piece of wood. Casablanca may have been charming years ago, but is now rundown."

"We stayed 1 night in Villa 1565 The room was nasty managed. This location felt more like a motel. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower was dirty and the room smelt of raw sewage. The room smell are disgusting the bathroom door was dirty. Chipping "nightstand" The breakfast had little options. Absolutely do not recommend this place."
