The Marker 8 Hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay in St Augustine. Friendly Staff, delicious breakfasts, and great appetizers at the 5 pm social hour. The close proximity of the hotel to the historic district made it easy to enjoy the Nights of Lights on foot.

Nice 2 story hotel with a small pool overlooking the marina and yes a 10 minute walk over the bridge gets you to St George St, restaurants and shopping. Breakfast is very good with hot or cold beverage daily. Evening snacks are also tasty and thoughtful. All hotel staff was great, specifically Gery. He had such great recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

The room was spotless. The breakfast ad staff were all wonderful and we had a lovely view of the water and Lion Bridge from our room. The only downside was the noise travelled at night. Having said that, i would still definitely stay here again.

The hotel was located over the Lion Bridge, it was easy to walk to see all the beautiful Christmas decorations. No car needed. The place was clean and my view from my room of the harbor was gorgeous. The staff could not be more helpful, they offer suggestions for activities and restaurants. The breakfast, afternoon appetizers and free parking was an added touch. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will be back again.
