We highly recommend this place. It’s beautiful, quiet, but centrally located to see the sights. The staff are wonderful, especially Mary Lynn, who prepared our delicious breakfasts every morning. She was very helpful with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. She’s a marvelous ambassador for this lovely place.

This is a great place to stay in St. Augustine! It's in a quieter part of the town, and a 3 minute walk to the historic area, cathedral, Flagler College, fort, restaurants, etc. The staff was excellent, breakfast was delicious and a lot of freebees (water, cookies, coffee, wine). The B&B has onsite parking which was very convient! I highly recommend!

Breakfast was served in a different building which was not convenient. Stuff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Parkin is near, you just need to work across the street

I love this bed-and-breakfast, it is my absolute favorite place to go in Saint Augustine! Customer service is amazing. They’re so thoughtful and accommodating. The rooms are always spotless and the breakfasts are delicious. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I go to Saint Augustine.

We stayed in the Pearl room which is located behind the main house over the garage. The room was spacious, just as shown by photos, and offered privacy. Breakfast is served at the sister property across the street. They were very accommodating of my nut allergies. The breakfast was delicious. We loved the location, you can walk to many restaurants, shops and historic sites. Thank you for a great stay!

This is our 2nd time here and we love it. The breakfast is fabulous. All of the nice touches. Wine, cookies, soda, water, chocolates on the pillow. Location is perfect. Only knock is that we had to park in the parking garage. Already looking forward to our return.

Staying at this lovely B&B was a delightful experience, from start to finish. I can’t think of one thing that was negative or unpleasant. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, with something different every day. An easy walk to shops, restaurants and bars, as well as the Castillo de San Marcos. We received amazing customer service from Teresa, Courtney, Mary Lynn and Eva who was so very kind and accommodating. There were others that worked here as well, all providing superior customer service. They are truly customer service oriented. Couple that service with the appearance and atmosphere of Centennial House, and you have a true winner. I HIGHLY recommend and will be returning myself! Thank you!!

We returned to stay at Centennial House/Carriage Way after two years. We stayed in the same room (the Alexandrite, previously known as Carriage View) as during our last stay. We found it to be in need of some serious updates and cleaning. The blinds don't fit the windows in the room correctly (too long) and therefore are difficult to open and close. The floors were quite dirty in the room and my wife and I walked around in sock feet and the socks turned black with dirt. The mirror in the bathroom is mounted so low over the sink that I could only see from mid-chest down unless I bent at the knees about 40 degrees. I'm only 6'1"...difficult to shave etc. like that! The Bathroom tile floor has large cracks running from the door to the shower. These were the same issues the last time we stayed and none of them have been fixed in the two years since we stayed there. A new experience since our last visit was that guests now must go across the street and down a 1/2 block to a sister property to get their breakfast. That is extremely inconvenient and ruins the B and B vibe, especially when it's raining. The food is generally very good. The staff is very friendly, and they try to ensure that you have a good stay. I did look at other rooms in the property and they didn't seem to have the glaring issues we experienced with our room. I would be willing to return and stay in any of those other rooms I saw as I tend to like the property and staff.

Our visit was amazing, the rooms had so much old southern charm, the word my partner used was opulence. The staff was amazing, and breakfast was a wonderful surprise. I've stayed in many places around the world, and this, for me, was the perfect mix. We will be coming back!

The employees were helpful & friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The room was a bit outdated, but comfortable. However, be aware that certain rooms face a very busy street with noise late at night & in the early morning.

The room was very clean and in good shape. The staff was exceptionally helpful and pleasant and we had delicious breakfasts during our five night stay. All of this made for a wonderful visit to St Augustine.

Overall a cozy welcoming environment. The staff is amazing and very happy to help in any way possible. The room was efficient (as expected) with a very comfortable bed. Although our room was located in the main/lobby area, it was very quiet and convenient for the coffee, soft drinks and spirits provided for guests. Also in the main room, there's plenty of local information available, along with comfortable sitting area and even games to enjoy after a long day of exploring the area. The location was perfect, as everything was well within walking distance for us. Once parked, we walked everywhere. St George Street, Castillo de San Marcos and a multitude of shops and every level of dining one could want. We especially enjoyed The Castillo de San Marcos, The Shipwreck Museum, Burrito Works, River & Fort and Harry's Seafood just to get started! Back at the BnB the provided breakfast was a home cooked delight. French toast (with blueberries), bacon, eggs (perfectly prepared) with juice and coffee was served in a charming dining room by our spectacular staff. Parking onsite is limited, but there is a historical parking ramp just down the street, that is provided free of charge as a guest. We are looking forward to returning soon.

The B&B was very nice, its location was excellent for exploring the old town, and the breakfast was good. Also there was free parking. My reason for deducting two stars was that our room was very very cold and we had to wear our coats to keep warm. Unfortunately it happened to be a cold day. What’s more interesting is the reaction of the staff the following morning when we told them about the room. They were not surprised to hear that the room was very cold since obviously it has a perennial heating problem, but more interestingly they did not appear bothered by their negligence to ensure that there was a space heater in the room. They made a reference to some number we were supposed to call and one suggested that we should have huddled together to keep warm. We talked to the other guests and they all said that their room was nice and warm. This was rather unacceptable since this is not a cheap place!! Getting up in the morning was a bit … unpleasant !!
