Vents in bathroom were full and I mean fully coated with black dust. Overall building smelt damp with a faint smell of mildew or mold. Maybe run an ozone machine to purify the air, remove some of that lingering musty smell. As for the front desk, it would have been helpful if they knew that just a street over there are two 24-hour parking options that don't cost $45 a night for when, like me, a guest arrives past the time that their "recommended" parking lot closes. Which is 10pm. This left me scrambling after midnight in a city that was completely foreign to me surrounded by sketchy drugged out homeless people and aggressive vagrants trying to find a place to park my car for the night so that it didn't get broken into. I was told by front desk that he could assure me it wouldn't get broken into. I didn't ask, he just told me that. I guess he's got a guy to crush skulls, because otherwise I don't see how that would have been possible. Out of town plates, car packed to the brim with luggage. Seems like an easy target to me. On top of that, if you don't find paid parking and you end up parking on the street, you better be prepared to wake up prior to 7:00 a.m. when they start handing out parking tickets.

The property’s location is excellent, offering convenient access to shopping malls, public transportation, and restaurants. However, the building is older and lacks an elevator, which means guests need to carry their luggage to the front desk and their rooms.

Ok here is the honest review and i will mention both good and bad. Good part: - The area where it is located is surrounded by clubs and party places. If you are into party and late night clubbing, you might wanna book around the area. - The rooms are sound proof from outside noises. So even if you are not a party person, your sleep wont be disturbed - The staff is very nice. We had an issue with a room , and they happily changed it for us. They have a reception 24 hours and there will be a person to open the door even if you come back to hptel like 3 am at night. - This was the cheapest we could find in Montreal downtown. Bad part: - The rooms are horrible. Especially rooms on the 3rd floor. If you book this place. Make sure to request the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor shared bathrooms are broken and the rooms are very very tiny. - Cleanliness is not the biggest thing. The bathrooms are shared and therefore they should pay a lot of attention to the cleaning the bathrooms. People are nasty and wouldnt clean after themselves.

It's a dump not worthy of human habitat. What they offered as breakfast can't be considered human breakfast, only receipt. The area of St. Catherine is great but this so called hotel is not worthy of human living...

This hotel needs to make it clear in its description that there is no elevator and only has stairs to access the rooms. I booked with them as it was in a convenient location for my trip, only to find out about the this terrible inconvenience by reading through the reviews after i made the reservation. I immediately tried to cancel, and was refused by the hotel. They would not let me cancel even when i expressed ny concerns about having no elevator and that i was physically not able to use stairs. Terrible customer service. BEWARE.

There was a hot water tank right next to toilet..... that was kind of dangerous... I can see the wire and power plug next to the shower and toilet area in the same room.

Good place to sleep. A lot of things are within walking distance. Didn’t spend much time at the hotel. Can be a lot of noise depending if there’s an event happening nearby or not.

You pay for what you get. The Hotel lobby and hallways STINK. They smell like mold. However, I don’t think you’ll find a better option for the price. The room itself was quite clean and did not smell of mold at all. I wouldn’t stay here again, but if you are looking for a CHEAP hotel that provides a clean bed and a clean shower, I recommend this place. Free breakfast included. Banana, apples, cereal, bread, peanut butter, Nutella, coffee, milk and Orange juice. 2/5 overall. Again, if your only expectations are a clean bed and clean shower, you’ll be happy. Anything else and you’ll be disappointed. Happy travelling!

We had to wait for the bathrooms. It delayed our trip which lead to missed meetings and deadlines. Cleanliness was not mentioned. I want my refund of this stay please. I booked with such an esteemed organisation like yours but still got such poor service for this price. Not expected

Nous avons réservé une chambre pour 4 personnes. La 1ere chambre reçue n avait aucune prise de courant fonctionnelle sur les 4 prises. Donc, pas de télévision et impossible de recharger nos cellulaires. La 2e chambre offerte apres nous etre plaint était très sale. En arrivant dans celle-ci, une forte odeur de cigarette planait dans l air. Pourtant, il s agit supposement d un hôtel non fumeur...ont nous fait signer une décharge a l arrivée nous indiquant qu il y a un frais de 250$ si ont fumes...une vrai farce. Clairement, personne n avait fait le menage ou inspecter la chambre. Il y avait plein de megots de cigarettes dans la toillette. Il n y avait pas de draps ni d oreiller pour le lit simple. De plus, il y avait des taches et des brûlures de cigarettes dans la couvre lit ainsi que d'énormes taches dans les draps ainsi que sur le sommier du lit simple apres l avoir déplacé pour arranger le lit qui etait cassé...je crois même que s etait de l urine. Sur le calorifère, un bout d excréments. Apres plusieurs visites au lobby pour nous plaindre de la situation, ont nous offrait 2 chambres séparées mais nous avions trop peur d avoir des chambres pires que les 2 precedentes. Salle de bain séparés sans tapis de bain, climatisation très bruyante qui climatise tres peu.. La moquette des escaliers et des aires communes extrêmement sale avec de grosses taches. Pas d ascenseur donc tres peu pratique pour monter avec les valises. Photos a l appui pour remboursement aupres d Expedia.

Toilette avec mégots de cigarettes à notre arrivée dans la chambre

Lit simple cassé pour 2 personnes...après nous etre plaint nous avons réussi à obtenir draps et oreiller

Thi place is good only if you want a place to sleep. They charge for breakfast and give you bread and jam. Rooms are not at all like the pics uploaded, they ste below average rooms. For the price you charge please offer better services and breakfast.

Chambre pour 4 : sale, miettes, serviette avec poils, draps avec des taches et des trous en fin de vie, couvre lit avec d'énormes taches jaunes, salle de bain séparés extrêmement sale, robinet déglingué, pas de tapis de bain, bac à douche plein de cheveux, climatisation très bruyante et odeur désagréable en entrant dans la chambre. La moquette des escaliers et des communs sale, grosses taches. Petit déjeuner qui n'a rien a voir avec un petit déjeuner continental. Servi dans des bols, assiettes jetables. Literie correcte mais alèse avec des taches jaunes.
