"10/10 would stay here again. Spectacular location and service! The rooms had gorgeous views. The property is well-maintained and quiet. The common room was a joy to sit in, with delicious free cookies in the afternoons and smores for toasting in the outdoor fire pits in the evenings. The breakfast bar was also great. Free parking.
You can’t beat the location — only an 8 minute drive to Minnewaska State Park and across the street from a great German restaurant.

We had some confusion on checking in, I had apparently booked a room without a private bath or closet. As we were there to attend a wedding, I wanted my own bathroom and a place to hang our "dressup" clothes. They were able to change our room and accomodate us."
"Everything was awesome!!! The grounds are incredible and so many places to walk around. Every single person of the staff was incredible. They were so nice, helpful, etc. and the restaurant on property is amazing. There wasn’t one item that wasn’t delicious. I would say the only issue is when it rains/snows. As it get muddy everyone. They have one road paved but would be cool if the other was paved and a paved walkway up to each cabin. But that’s such a minor thing compared to how...

"The only complaint is that one elevator out of two was out of service so the wait was long and since our room was by the stairs we had a lot of stairwell noise. "
"This was hands down one of the cleanest, most professional yet relaxed and well-organized hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and accommodating. I’m a clean freak—I tend to check corners and crevices—and everything was absolutely spotless. Breakfast felt like I was being waited on hand and foot. The bed had the perfect firmness, and my room was spacious and comfortable. I even extended my stay… and might be back next week. lol"
"Our room was beautiful; beautiful furniture, exquisite design, brand new renovation. Amazing air con. Heated bathroom floor. Amazing rain shower head. Very short walk to waterfront, museums, restaurants, bars and shops. Unbelievable stay. "My friends and I rented this property for a long girls weekend to attend an event in the area. We liked the historical aspect of the property and Gary was an excellent host. His banana bread was amazing! We would definitely stay again. "
