"Maggie the receptionist was very pleasant. The breakfast was the best I have ever seen at a hotel. There were eggs, gluten free baked items, avacado, cereal, waffles, sausage, fruit, muffins, bagels, tea, coffee. All overlooking the back hill. The room was spacious. There are trail off the back of the property. The German resteraunt ( Mountain Brewhous) across the street was great. The wait staff wears German costumes. We went hiking in Minnewaska state park and saw the waterfall. "

"This was the perfect "do it yourself check in" spot for a couple of days of exploration of the New Paltz/Gunks area. I met lovely people at breakfast, read on the porch, luxuriated in the whirlpool tub in my room after a long day of hiking. Highly recommend it. I'll be back. Thank you!"

"Where do I start…. Everything was clean and felt so luxurious. The staff was unbelievably polite, kind, and caring. The grounds are beautiful. The spa is perfect. The amenities are top tier. The food is TRULY farm to table (you can go see the farm on a 5 minute walk if you need proof). Just the perfect weekend getaway. Will definitely stay again, either with a group or just the 2 of us."

"Enjoyed our two-night stay at the Hyde Park property during a weekend in the Hudson Valley. It is convenient to the FDR Museum and Library as well as the CIA and the Vanderbilt Mansion. And it's a quick jaunt to the Everready for lunch and the Rhinebeck Farmer's Market on Sunday! The staff was friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the offerings at the breakfast bar.
