"Very disappointed with the stay here and the service. I would not recommend this at all as they clearly do not care for their customers. We booked a private room and when we entered it smelled of fresh paint fumes. We asked to switch rooms, to which we were told none available. It was late at night and therefore too late to find alternative accomodations. Front desk directed us to send email to support for a refund as they "could not" process it. Their back end email support was deeply unhelpful...

"Das Personal war zwar freundlich, Frühstück ok aber Kakalaken im Frühstücksraum geht gar nicht. Außerdem knallen die Zimmertüren, besonders nachts und die alte Klimaanlage gibt ständig Geräusche von sich, dass man davon wach wird. Abstellen ging auch nicht. Ich wurde mindestens 4 Mal aus dem Tiefschlaf gerissen. Außerdem ist das alte Haus so hellhörig, dass man die Unterhaltungen aus den Nachbarzimmern hört."

"Room was nice amazing views on the rop floor. Room was clean and spacious. Whilst the security was ok i would mind if the safe was free. You have to pay a 10 euro deposit for the key. I understand the reason behind this. However, in this day and age noone normslly needs to pay extra for thay security. Breakfast was ok, it filled you up but there isnt alot of variety espeically in the healthy side. Other than that for the price i paid it was a nice stay and the staff were very friendly. "

"The hotel was clean and the lobby has a bar and decent casual restaurant. The room however is a new definition of small .bathroom adequate and good shower. Outside pool and patio really nice "

"Room was tidy and the whole facility was well designed and laid out, including the roof top terrace. Also less than an 5 minute walk from the bus and train stations so super convenient. Only stayed one night but would recommend for that or a longer stay. "

"I loved my stay at the Oakmoon. I was the only one there for two days, so I had free use of my spacious room, plus the open-plan full kitchen and living room area and the funky little interior patio with hand-painted mural. The house is on a narrow street of mostly private homes and a few bars and restaurants and close to plenty of other restaurants, shops, the marina, cathedral, laundromat, etc. Sarah, the house manager, is friendly and very helpful, if you need anything. "

"There was a misunderstanding about our booking as it was booked a day earlier. When we showed up at the hotel they were fully booked and offered us a full refund but we would have to find a new hotel. That full refund never happened!"
