"The Malvern is a hotel run around a health club and spa. The best feature is its restaurant which is modern and serves good food. The spa itself has a nice and warm indoor / outdoor pool but the facilities are dated and tired. The rooms are very tired, think 1970’s travelodge, and in desperate need of an upgrade. Staff pleasant."

"The room was clean and the complimentary beverages were well stocked. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. We ate a light bite in the bar which was good value for the money and tasty. We have stayed before and the air conditioning was not working, this problem has not been resolved and the air conditioning and bathroom fan did not work during this stay. This was a problem with temperatures of 30 degrees outside. The hotel is in a convenient location."

"The weather was exceptionally hot during our stay, the staff had closed the curtains on our room and had a fan running to try to keep the bedroom cool. All of the staff, without exception, were helpful, professional and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities. Evening meal in the restaurant was excellent, curry was exceptionally good, only downside was that some items on the breakfast buffet were only lukewarm, not helped by only cold plates being available. "Most of the beer in the bar was off. We asked for an extra fan for the room, it didn't turn up. My wife is a vegan, we asked for oatmilk in the room. That didn't arrive either. To cap it all when we left we were told that we had to pay an extra £55.00 as the price we were quoted was less than what it should have been. Won't be stopping here again."

"Really nice b&b in an historic and interesting house. Host was really friendly and breakfasts were really good. Large bedroom, plenty of space for clothes. Right opposite the Abbey and near local amenities. Would certainly return."
