"The property is a VRBO Style not a hotel. We had problems finding the place initially and had to call Pauline who was very helpful and came out so our Uber driver could get us to the property. Very nice pool and jacuzzi. Our room had a beautiful jetted jacuzzi tub and fancy steam shower. Location is very well situated and about 8 minute walk to the pope Palace and adjacent restaurants."

"Very clean and mostly friendly staff. However there were a few things that could have been better. First, there were barely any outlets in the room, one in the bathroom and only one in the main room. There were two regular usb's (typeC) so if you had a newer iphone or laptop you could not charge (they are type A) unless you knew and brought usb c adapters. "To be fair, this once elegant property is in a great location and the breakfast buffet & morning restaurant staff were excellent. Also, we were there in the middle of a severe heat wave, so staff and systems were strained to the max. Housekeeping staff were VERY NICE, but Front Desk - not so much. Our room's A/C fan was on maximum and it simply wasn't able to keep up. By Day2 of our stay, water began dripping from the ceiling steadily - we had to physically move our bed away from it. "Excellent stay at Best Western Plus Avignon – Highly recommended! We just stayed at the Best Western Plus Avignon and overall found it to be a very good hotel in a convenient location. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, varied, and one of the highlights of our stay. The indoor pool and sauna were amazing and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. "Rooms were very clean with cold AC. Good kitchenette for longer stays. The issue I had was the attached bathroom is a wet bath, with the shower not being isolated and draining into a central drain in the bathroom. The floor in my room had areas where the water would pool and gradually move to the door, and took hours for the water to dry between the doorway, toilet and sink (sink is opposite the doorway) if not squeegeed. Breakfast is a bit overpriced for what is on offer. Find a local bakery....

"A great quite location super conveniently located just outside St. Michel Gate, so it worked very well as a retreat from the Festival. The host was very warm, personable and accommodating. A jacuzzi in the room was a great amenity after long days of walking on cobblestone, and the living room was a comfortable place to get work done during the days."
