One night family stay

Check in was fine except the reception malay lady was not warm welcome, long face with stern tone. Feel like we beg her for a night stay. Basic room for just resting at night. Parking is free. 15 mins walk to Jonker street.

The stay was decent. Not much to shout about. The shower hose leaked when the water is turned on. There wasn’t free parking in the hotel despite reflecting as so. Had to pay a dollar for a 60 cents coupon.

I paid Singapore $135 for a $40 budget room. I can’t believe Expedia has ripped me off like this. The hotel is truly awful with no breakfast and so many issues I can’t be bothered to list. Staff are typical nice Malay people in charge of a dismal building that’s had no upkeep for at least 20 years. Shameful of you Expedia

Pro and cons

Pro: Room are so nice and big. Bed are comfy. Get free upgrade during my stay. Staff were so helpful. Cons: Ordered food and it came disappointing. The nasi goreng were cold and even the portion of chicken chop are not worth the money. Toilet were not cleaned properly. There some pad hidden at the sink and no toilettries provided. Please do check the room before give it to customer.

affordable & great location

i booked 2 rooms (deluxe twin & deluxe king). checked in before midnight so you dont have any choice to have 2 rooms beside each other. the hotel offered me to have junior suit instead of deluxe king at no additional charges. the room was spacious and comfy. however the other room - deluxe twin cannot be opened using card. need assistance from the receptionist to open the door and tv is not functioning well. overall is ok.

I booked for 1 queen and 1 king bed but i got 2 queen beds. Apart from that, the glass divider for bathroom is not suitable for family as we can see clearly people shadow while showering inside the bathroom. The glass door in my room also cannot close properly and has a gap that people from outside can see inside the bathroom. The bed sheet also very dirty and we have to call them to change the bed sheet. I will not go to that hotel anymore
