Mae Haad Beach

We were very pleased with the staff and the atmosphere of this hotel. Located on a busy street that was under construction, once inside it felt like a magical oasis. Our biggest surprise was that the hotel didn’t have a restaurant on the premises, although you could order out from nearby restaurants and actually a McDonalds is attached to the hotel. But who wants daily McDonalds on a Thai beach?? The included breakfast depended on coupons for a nearby restaurant which was very good, but a little inconvenient. I highly recommend this hotel, just be aware of the dining situation.

Location is a bit walk from Chaweng beach happening areas. But this brings some well deserved quiet as well. The hotel itself is perfectly arranged - everything is in close proximity. Walking from the sea to bar area is a bit walk up the stairs but frankly not an issue. Rooms were practical and well furnished.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff is awesome. The facilities and location are great. I would highly recommend it. The one thing to think about is getting off the property for lunch and dinner. The food available in the restaurants for lunch and for dinner, while tasty, is much higher in price without being better than you can get from any number of restaurants within 30 minutes. It was good, but I would get off campus for more meals if I come back. Everything else was completely top not.
