"Our stay was truly the experience of a lifetime. Every member of the staff was exceptionally kind, caring, and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. After a long day, I had trouble making it up the hill to our room, and the gentleman who escorted us graciously carried my bag. I wish I had gotten his name so I could thank him personally. It was so late when we checked in that I completely forgot to ask. Jorge was equally wonderful. He and his dog, Sunny, gave us a ride...

"This is a family ran lodge with plenty of character. Rudy and Claudia are very helpful and attentive The dogs, cat, llama and little rabbit are super friendly as well. Perfect place to kick back and relax, it is a little tough to get in and out of there so plan accordingly. The place is a little rough on the edges, but that is the exact appeal. (This is saying a lot as I am from Alaska and have a high level of expectation for views ) the family that runs the base camp and restraint were so sweet this was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in my life.
