The staff were all really friendly, hospitable and helpful. I also got my laundry done at the hotel (it was $2 USD for 1 kg of load) and the staff were really efficient with that. The alms giving ceremony also happens just outside the hotel every morning around 6am which was a unique cultural tradition to witness. "
