"The only down part of our stay was breakfast
Hot food slow to be replenished so quite a wait with people standing around .. only some parts at a time was replenished and whilst waiting for the rest of the dishes original parts got cold …

"The accommodation was very homely, and having home cooked breakfast was a lovely touch. Walking distance from the local shops and train station made it very convenient to get around and get what i needed on a daily basis. Highly recommended and will visit again."
"It isn’t a large hotel which makes it much more personable. Beautiful spacious rooms, especially the ones over looking the river with Juliet balcony, where you can watch the ducks & swans- all very idyllic. Staff are helpful & always available.
Downstairs gives plenty of traditional country style pub vibes. If you are looking for an upmarket place to relax & chill out, this is the place to be. A major plus is the free on site parking. There is a 2 tier parking area next to hotel.
Only issue...
"Pleasantly surprised. Was booked as an overnight pit stop for Thorpe park but actually wished we’d spent more time there. Quirky, cosy and everything you needed like ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries, coffee machine etc. even snack in the room (chargeable). Literally 5 mins to Thorpe park "
"Such a beautiful place! The room was just stunning and very clean. Very spacious with big bathroom and free standing bath which added a nice touch. The staff were so lovely and helpful and the food was very good although my pizza was slightly more done than I would have liked but still enjoyable. 30 seconds walk and there is a lovely place to walk down the river and watch the boats. Lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy some food and a drink. Would definitely stay here again. "

"As fabulous as ever! Courteous staff, excellent room amenities and a well-stocked club room! Great proximity to departure hall, literally a 4 minute walk. This has been my choice for many years, whenever flying from Heathrow, irrespective of which terminal I fly from! "
