Lovely entrance, however, the hotel was ridiculously hot (the bar area felt like a sauna). When I arrived in my room, it had been set at 25, which is far too hot for a bedroom. It took ages to come down to a reasonable heat. I did say good morning to a member of staff, who just blanked me, but reception staff were exceptional. The surroundings were beautiful. Was able to get an electric hook up without any trouble. Would recommend this hotel, but only if something is done about the heat, as it really was uncomfortable, I’m afraid.

Great Stay with an Exceptional Breakfast

It’s in a great location, making it easy to get around and explore. But hands down, the highlight of my stay was the breakfast! There were plenty of options to choose from, including healthy choices and hearty favorites. The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff were warm, attentive, and made mornings feel extra special. Highly recommended for anyone who values a comfortable stay and a top-notch breakfast experience.

There was plenty of parking available and all staff we encountered were friendly. However our room was not up to standard. The toilet had a loud drip, the floor boards were extremely creaky. We appreciate it is an old building but we were awoken to the guests in the room above us walking around and the noise kept us up. We could hear every foot step. The door wasn't sealed so we had a square of light illuminating our room. We were exhausted after a long busy day and didn't want to change room so late, but we expected better quality for the money paid.

High Quality Hotel

We stay here regularly when visiting our daughter. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are fabulous, breakfast always good quality and plenty of choice. Staff are always friendly and attentive, from check-in, to the restaurant to the bar. Have tried some of the other local hotels (even Brooklands) but always come back here.

Wonderful hotel

This is our second stay at Oatlands Park Hotel and we will definitely be coming back. We love the friendliness of the staff, the clean spaces, the standard of rooms etc. Perfect place to stay.

We had a comfortable stay for one night. The bed was very squishy and very comfortable. The en-suite was small which is not a problem but a shelf or sink with worktop would have been good as there was nowhere to put toiletries etc. A bit of a strange smell in the downstairs corridor but nothing that affected our stay. All good, nothing to complain about except the fire alarm which went off about 1.30am causing a bit of shock and panic. Lovely breakfast though which was just perfect.
