At night, a lot of noise and smoke from downstairs. Air conditioner wasn't working, and spa bath didn't work either. "I don’t know if all the rooms are the same but after a very long day and the usual stresses of flying the one thing you need is sleep. Not possible in the room I was in. Everything was great until it was time to switch the lights off. Directly above my bed was the brightest green “Exit” sign I had ever seen. No matter how I tried to position myself in the bed the bright light was beaming into my eyes. It was so bright it lit up the whole room. In the end the only thing I could do to escape it...

"Easy parking. Remember this is an efficiency so nothing but the essentials: clean sheets, towels, toilet and shower. I suggest asking for a room at the back as it can get noisy out front! The breakfast is great so take the breakfast. Finding a sitdown restaurant within walking which is open before 8pm is tough. Locals are quite reserved like Parissians!"

"Decent 4 bed room. Sink in room, shower and toilet attached to room on either side. This makes reducing noise and light disturbance for other roomies difficult. Curtain on the bunks resolves the light issue only to a small extent. Noise from the street. Bring ear plugs. Hostel had daily entertainment activities and staff were very helpful. Reasonable buffet breakfast for extra €7. Towel could be rented for €3. Drawers under bed for storage. Bring your own padlock."
