8 of us stayed here for the recent Rugby finals in Bilbao - mainly because it was the only hotel we could find that offered reasonable value for money (downtown hotels asking £700+ per room per night for that weekend) As the name says this is a budget hotel but it was fine for us. Easy to get to centre of Bilbao on regular trains (station 15 minute walk) Friendly and exceptionally helpful staff. Reasonable breakfast but no other dining options. Some cafes and restaurant over the bridge in the main part of the town

If you can bear a value hotel, then you will be fine. It had a bed and facilities and it was peaceful. Everything is monetised; coffee, breakfast, wifi - all costs money. Its on a motorway in the middle of nowhere, and the toll road costs $1, bit annoying. The corridors stink of smoke and damp. Decor is dated horribly. But its fine.

Easy parking. Remember this is an efficiency so nothing but the essentials: clean sheets, towels, toilet and shower. I suggest asking for a room at the back as it can get noisy out front! The breakfast is great so take the breakfast. Finding a sitdown restaurant within walking which is open before 8pm is tough. Locals are quite reserved like Parissians!

The staff were nice and breakfast was good, but the room was tiny and really cramped for 2 people. There was only one pillow on the bed, and no sheets, just the duvet. The area around there is low income, so walking a short distance into town was worrisome, and only one restaurant was open on a Sunday, and it had 5 things on the menu. Very overpriced for what we got. I am staying in a much nicer hotel tonight near that hotel for half the price.

Check in was very slow. After a long drive you don't want to be editing around. Then when I got yo the room the door key hadn't been programmed properly so the floor wouldn't open. Back to reception to get it sorted

Lovely staff but the hotel is looking quite tired and would benefit from refurbishment. The third/bunk bed is really only suitable for children. My 16 year old son said it was like sleeping in a coffin. Though clean, my own bed smelt a little and the sheets were ripped. I think many people have smoked in the room, despite the hotel’s no smoking policy.

Il manque des prises électriques dans la chambre. Pas de sèche cheveux a disposition mais disponible a la réception. Boisson désaltèrente gratuite a la réception très agréable. La literie est correcte.Il manque une brosse dans les wc. Proche d'une gare a 20 minutes à pied pour aller a Bilbao en 7 arrêts.

Puntos positivos: los perros no pagan y los cuartos son silenciosos. Puntos negativos: la zona es segura pero horrorosa, no hay nada cerca para cenar. Los pasillos del hotel huelen raro y el cuarto es extremadamente pequeño para el precio que se paga. El lavabo y la ducha están en el cuarto mismo, solo el water está separado. No hay armario y el aire acondicionado es un poco flojo (hay que poner una temperatura mucho más baja de la deseada para que se note).
