"Stunning rooms, but let down by unprofessional and inconsistent service. I recently stayed at this hotel , sea view suite in £180 per night, and while the property itself is aesthetically pleasing and the rooms are genuinely lovely, the breakfast experience was a significant disappointment. As someone who has stayed in over 800 hotels globally, I understand the importance of local service etiquette. However, the service here was far below what is expected for a property at this price point...

"I didn't have a beach view from my room. But the property is just across the street from the beach. The amenities are basic but the staff are excellent. Will highly recommend for the staff are friendly!"

"Only stayed for one night and we were a bit dubious when we first arrived as the was scaffolding al around the hotel which we did not know about. But walk through the door and it was lovely. Nice area to sit by reception, we stayed in room 11. Lovely room, clean, tidy and very comfortable. Had everything we needed for our night stay. Would definately stay again"

"Room was amazing, super king size bed, coffee,hot chocolate and tea available, but no milk, breakfast was superb, you get to choose when you arrive, staff where brilliant throughout our stay, so close to all the amenities, shops , restaurants and the pier, would recommend snooze to everyone, we will be back ."

"Quite near to the centre, very clean room, #9 me & daughter stayed in, room with it's own courtyard, although I didn't use the courtyard much, it's a very nice touch to the property. Great stay all in all."

"Lovely property, clean, well maintained room. Within 10 mins walk of town centre pubs/bars and restaurants. 15 mins walk to Tramway stop for Great Orme and seafront. Similar time to the west shore the other way. Friendly owner and staff, would definately recommend for short stays in Llandudno"

"Room was on the top floor so many stairs to climb. View was nice but window was small. No refrigerator in the room and room was a little outdated. Breakfast gave us stomach aches "

"I have never stayed at the Merrion Hotel before, but, after booking a short break there on Wednesday the 6th of April till the 10th of April, I must say, I was very impressed and pleasantly surprised how very good it was, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was excellent, and I am not sure if any other hotels in Llandudno could beat it, I certainly wouldn't hesitate to go back there again in the near future, keep up the good work Merrion From Mr lewin Thomas...

"Limited parking at hotel but could have reserved a space when we arrived. Our room had a good sea view overlooking the bay. There is a reception desk open all day, very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Will certainly book again "

"No lift, requested ground floor apologies as none free,but then 2nd floor quite the climb! Limited parking, not disabled friendly.the room clean very dated and torn chairs ,which should be in a skip,cracks in wall ripped wallpaper..However fantastic breakfast and thanks for accommodating autistic grandson for his breakfast, it was clean and towels clean but in need of some TLC, staff great , shower gels etc provided steep hill which can't be helped, but fyi for those with mobility issues ."

"Double room with nice views of the sea and Little Orme. We’ve stayed here a few times, and recommend booking a sea or Orme view at the front. Bathroom was small, and with a shower over the bath. Would prefer walk in shower as my 81 year old hubby has recently had an artificial knee. Nice selection of shampoos, conditioners etc. Breakfast and dinner were very nice, with the usual menu of a J W Lees pub/hotel. Plenty of parking…just make sure you fill in your registration details at...
