"Sauberes, modernes Zimmer. Toller Blick auf Akureyri. In wenigen Minuten ist man mit dem Auto in der Stadt + die grandiose Waldlagune liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Frühstück war absolut ausreichend. Wir wurden nett empfangen und nett verabschiedet- haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt."

"4 Sterne Hotel, aber die Zimmer wurden nicht täglich morgens gereinigt. Haare waren noch von den Vorbewohnern in der Dusche, Beschwerden wurden weg gelächelt. Die Fenster waren so dreckig, dass man nicht hinaus sehen konnte. Elektrokabel hingen aus der Wand, der Fernseher hatte keine Fernbedienung, die Zimmer sind so klein, dass man von vorne ins Bett springen muss, der Frühstücksraum erinnert an einen Mastbetrieb, keine Atmosphäre etc."

"Very spacious and clean with a lot of amenities. It had tons of character, but the floors squeak a bit and some doors cannot close without locking. Nothing unexpected for a historical property. Very nice stay!"

"Overall nice hotel. But no parking. Need to park the car in the city park. The hotel has 2 separated building. In one building, it doesn’t have wifi signal at all. A bit noise outside."

"Place is ok but a few annoying things. Finding the place was not so easy. Also unexpectedly had stairs leading up to the apartment. The bed was not comfortable and pretty noisy. Blinds really don’t block out enough light. And there was no shampoo or shower wash. Pretty basic miss. "

"The property is located in the downtown area. Close walk to all the external restaurants and shopping. The beds were way too soft. It felt like you were sleeping on a bag of marshmallows. The pillows were so thin you had to fold it in half to make it work. And if you wanted another one it was 500 Islandic Kronos extra per pillow. The scrambled eggs and beans at breakfast buffet were cold."

"Outside of Cabin appeared a little rough but that was just normal age. Interior was great. Perfect for up to 6 people. Great amenities and just minutes from downtown."

"Apartment is wide. We found things as expectation except some bad matters. - Room is on the 4th floor but no lift! We had to move our 5 luggages and others on the narrow staircase. It’s very terrible experience. - Instructions for parking are not clear. They told us maybe parking fee and time limit but not clear how to read parking sign when and where can or cannot parking with fee or without fee. We waste more time for parking. - We booked for 5 pax but well prepared only 2 double beds. Another...

"We were there for two nights, and the first night was OK. Noisy location, with people yelling on the street right in front of the hotel until 1:00, during our second night at the hotel. Then heavy machinery started operating on the street at 6:30, during one hour. Earplugs made no difference. The same night around 22:00, there was a fire alarm, that made us go downstairs to evacuate the building. On the first floor at the bar and restaurant also serving as the hotel reception, life continued...
