We were provided 2 bath towels (no face towels and only one hand towel), no tissue paper was in the room, only two glasses and no coffee or tea. It felt like they provided the bare minimum. "Nice location within 5-10 minutes walking to Akureyri downtown. Ample street parking. The building exterior needs painting. The unit is updated with flooring, bathroom, and kitchens. However, it is a basement unit and the entrance to the unit is undesirable. You have to through a short side door and walking down into the basement."

"We were there for two nights, and the first night was OK. Noisy location, with people yelling on the street right in front of the hotel until 1:00, during our second night at the hotel. Then heavy machinery started operating on the street at 6:30, during one hour. Earplugs made no difference. The same night around 22:00, there was a fire alarm, that made us go downstairs to evacuate the building. On the first floor at the bar and restaurant also serving as the hotel reception, life continued...

"Apartment is wide. We found things as expectation except some bad matters. - Room is on the 4th floor but no lift! We had to move our 5 luggages and others on the narrow staircase. It’s very terrible experience. - Instructions for parking are not clear. They told us maybe parking fee and time limit but not clear how to read parking sign when and where can or cannot parking with fee or without fee. "Logement bien placé mais avec trop d’ inconvénients. 1 seule salle de bain commune pour une dizaine de personnes dans 4 appartement au sous sol et sans produit de douche. Pas de rideaux de douche donc l’eau coule au sol et c’est sale pour les prochains. La chambre quadruple est tres difficile à ouvrir il y a un problème de serrure. Il n’y a ni miroir ni meubles pour poser les valises, ni lampe de chevet. C'est le strict minimum.1 seul espace commun avec une table et des chaises pour les 3 étages...
