"Hotel was a bit dated. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Can't say enough of the staff. They were friendly, professional, and very accommodating. Hotel is close to shops and restaurants."

"Loved this surf hostel. We have stayed at a few "hostels" as a family with two little boys, because they're rough on rooms and a hostel with a wooden floor and durable furniture is perfect for them. Dave the owner was the nicest guy on the planet--he would rush over with his dog (hi, Harvey!) to fill our water bottle and hooked us up with a surf instructor last-minute. Also very forgiving of a mishap with my car where I backed into the plants. It's a functional motel, and it's near the beach. The shower had 3 pump bottles with shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Wish we could have opened the windows, but I understand keeping them shut. We will be back."
