"The breakfast spread was great - combination of savoury and sweet options. Room was clean with fantastic light-blocking curtains.
Most of the staff were brilliant, helpful and welcoming."
"Love the hotel and staff and would still go.but the hotel needs money injecting in it.rooms are comfortable and in fact they have upgraded the kettle to coffee machine and pods which was lovely.however my room was not ready when i arrived.check in is supposed to be 3pm and i had to sit and wait till 4.15 before housekeeping had made up my room.then when I got to the room the bed was still not made up so i had go looking for someone to change bedding and finish my room.i also have a favourite room I ask for when making the booking in advance but this time they said it wasn’t available and put me in a disability room.as i only go overnight these things have a big impact on my stay.there were tablets on the floor and all sorts of tablets,debris and dust under the bed.like I say lovely hotel but obviously need invest more money in staff and property"
"Initial impression wasn’t great as, lifts were out of order, carpet in public areas appeared to need a wash and card entry system on outside wall was broken. Staff were very helpful as I was able to leave my case before check in. This meant I could tour Lancaster. Room was clean and outside noise in evening was negated by the earplugs supplied. I would visit again if I was in the area."
