"The caravan is on a very clean delightful site. You are in the lakes but feel like you are on a beach holiday, so best of both worlds. Nice plot near the Children's park. Tidy caravan with everything you need. Met the staff on site, very helpful. Gorgeous homemade ice cream hut near the beach and has its own bar with entertainment. Owner excellent with communication, everything you need for a family holiday. All you need in Millom including Tesco's and eateries. Food deliveries even to caravan....

"A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. "Excellent stay. Trevor met us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The hut was super cosy and amazingly clean. We had everything we needed for an offthe beaten track stay. Trevor even booked a table at a local pub and arranged a bottle of fizz for us at my request for my other halfs birthday. The surroundings and views were beautiful and there were great walks in the area too. We felt very secluded and private."
