"We stayed in a very nice cottage next to the Mayfield. It was very clean and modern looking in the bathrooms. There are very large beds in both rooms , each having a bathroom, very convenient.
The distance from Scarborough is about 10 minutes drive right to the seafront.
The reception staff are efficient and curteous.
Lots of parking out front too.

"Fantastic location for town access and all that Cheltenham has to offer. Even though 1B is quite small it has everything needed for a short stay and is comfortable and very clean. Great communications too. Would recommend to others wanting easy access to Cheltenham town."

"Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. "

"We had a lovely stay at Lockton Cottage, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed.
The welcome goodies were a great touch, and we really appreciated the tea, milk etc..after our long journey.
We would definitely stay again."

"Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business.
Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...

"The room was clean, pods exactly as expected. Staff helpful and attentive. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Cleaning team on top of it all at all hours. Whether restocking towels in vending machine or toilet rolls, hoovering or making showers spotless.
Lounging area was great to sit, eat and just chill. Lack of tv was great as made you talk. Music was piped in lounge area and lifts. Was just right. Loved the experience, would go for a lower pod in future. Avoid stairs."
"Bed was comfortable. Pillows were flat. Bedding, bath, toilet and sink were clean. Carpet was sticky and there were lots of dust and webs in every corner. TV was huge (which was great for the England game!) Air con was BRILLIANT! was 30 degrees when we visited so this was an added bonus! Location was great for where we needed to be. We used the uber boat and the shuttle boat a few times (shuttle free if you show them hotel booking). Breakfast was poor. No bacon, mushrooms or tomatoes. Staff on the desk when checking in were rude, sharp and seemed like they really didn't want to be there. All in all, the size of the TV and the aircon was worth every penny! we were only here for one night so didn't feel any need to complain or moan."
"My girlfriend loved her 21st birthday
The view was amazing the staff was polite and kind
The only small thing was that there was a crack on the mirror"
