"The hotel presents well in pictures, but cleanliness and maintenance were major issues once there. Sadly, there were cockroaches in the room, and the amenities were quite dated. Not much to do in the immediate area, so it was good that there is a train station immediately next to the hotel. The train tracks running so close to the hotel, however, made my room particularly noisy till about midnight each night. On a positive note, the staff were generally pleasant and helpful."

Impressively, the management provided an alternative solution within just five minutes. Even more commendable, the property manager personally traveled a considerable distance in the middle of the night to deliver a new access card-despite the fact that I already had temporary access. "They put us in what they already knew was a smelly room. We had to move to a different room. The maintenance guy said yes this room is always smelly. We are platinum travelers and our flight to Borneo was rescheduled 3 times. They didn't care at all. They would not refund any of our money. I would never go back here ever."
