A plant filled courtyard and intimate breakfast room and lounge. Real glasses for enjoying the cold rosé. A beautiful stay. Add to that a bustling residential neighborhood just outside the tourist center, in the oldest building in Avignon and extremely welcoming hosts! Highly recommended"

"To be fair, this once elegant property is in a great location and the breakfast buffet & morning restaurant staff were excellent. Also, we were there in the middle of a severe heat wave, so staff and systems were strained to the max. Housekeeping staff were VERY NICE, but Front Desk - not so much. Our room's A/C fan was on maximum and it simply wasn't able to keep up. By Day2 of our stay, water began dripping from the ceiling steadily - we had to physically move our bed away from it. "Tiny room, hugely inconvenient location. No taxi or Uber can get in. You have to walk at least ten minutes to catch a ride. Asked the front staff to order a taxi for me for my train trip. The taxi couldn't come on time and we ended missing our train and with that our first class ticket to Paris were completely wasted."

I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls. The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!"
