"Do not stay here! This was by far the worst Riu ever. We had to change rooms 3 times. For one we slept in the first room where the air conditioning was non existent and the room flooded. Food was trash as well! 0/10 would not recommend "

"We checked into Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana expecting a 5-star luxury all-inclusive experience, and it was shockingly the opposite. We ended up leaving the resort early and moving to a different hotel because it was that bad. Our room was filthy upon arrival stained bedding, dirty floors, mold-stained furniture, and even rust and grime coming from the walls. The bathroom had visible hair and a film on surfaces that clearly had not been properly cleaned. Even the “swim-out suite” was disappointing and far from what was advertised. The pool area was no better slimy and poorly maintained and overall cleanliness throughout the property was unacceptable for any standard, let alone a supposed luxury resort. The food was consistently cold, bland, and low quality. Drinks were equally disappointing, with only bottom-shelf alcohol included and very limited service, despite this being advertised as all-inclusive. Staff were often rude and unhelpful, and management was not accommodating when concerns were raised. Even basic expectations like service quality and hospitality were not met. To make matters worse, pools closed very early each evening at 5 PM, which felt very restrictive for a resort stay. Overall, this was the worst all-inclusive experience we have ever had. It does not reflect a 5-star resort in any way, and we strongly advise others not to stay here if they are expecting cleanliness, service, or luxury. We will never return."
