"Fantastic place to stay for energylandia. Walkable distance to supermarket and park. Great selection at breakfast. Super helpful road train to and from the park. Reception staff very helpful at check in. Also booked us a taxi as had trouble with uber. Tipi was great dont let the weather put you off as had heating. Plus crates to lock your stuff in. Overall would highly recommended."

"The property was clean, comfortable and convenient for visiting Energyland. Communications with property owners was excellent. Early check in was appreciated. The only problem was the coffee pot handle broke, causing a mess and breaking the pot. Free parking was provided. Proximity to restaurants and grocery stores were convenient. The property was listed as one bedroom. Actually it is a studio. "

However, the place felt a bit like a ghost town—abandoned, with no reception in sight. "We loved our stay at Portal House Apartments! It was the perfect location, so close and walkable to so many sights, shops, restaurants and super easy to catch a tram from there to head to other parts of the city. Our room was very spacious and it was nice to have a little balcony! The staff were all lovely and very helpful throughout our four night stay! Would definitely stay again!"
