"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Shiga Sunvalley. Loved the style of the Japanese rooms, it was very clean and the staff were exceptional!
Usui and staff helped up with any questions we had, ski rentals, keeping luggage after check out, shuttle bus information. Would stay with them again 10/10"
"Staff was super friendly. They took us to the ski gear rental shop and back again to return the stuff. Their English was ok, enough to explain what buses to take, recommend pistes, etc. We even received a small gift when leaving. I recommend reserving the 3 meal course."
"Location is good, opposite is the ski resort, which has good snow. Overall room was well maintained, public Onsen was nice too. However we came during early ski season, there is barely any restaurants opens. Hotel cafe food is a bit expensive, and not much choice (mainly western). If plan to stay may order half board instead, or tell hotel staff to reserve dinner before 10am"

"Impeccably clean, nice hot onsen, super helpful front desk. Cozy comfy beds. We don’t try the food but we will next time because it smelled delicious. *expedia site is WRONG - it’s not a 3 minute walk to ski resort - It’s a 30 min drive."
