"I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. Breakfasts are delicious and well worth the price inclusion, and any issues I had were quickly sorted by the staff. If you're thinking of staying here, you can't go...

"The room was far too hot. There was a thick winter 13 tog duvet on our bed ( and it was June weather) my husband asked for a blanket and sheet so the cleaner took away duvet but only left a sheet no blanket, so we were then cold on our second night and had to put our light raincoats on ourselves to keep warm:( The bed was far too small with it being a small double. Suggest you get smaller bedsize cabinets thsn the chunky ones and invest in a wider king-size bed for comfort for guests!"

"Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear."

"Lovely room and clean, but windows are old sash windows and we felt uneasy opening them in the hot weather. The room had fans provided. The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond to help, especially leon the dep manager. The bar was nice and plenty of places to sit. The evening meal was really nice slso. "Room was pleasant but was not serviced on second day. Cooked breakfast was reasonable but there was no cereal to start with nor toast and jam to follow. One cup of cofee only which was served 30 minutes before the cooked meal arrived on the second day. Mains were good but starters and sweet menu was limited and fairly expensive.
