"The room we received was not what was presented on the Expedia website. We booked for three travelers so we were trying to be careful In choosing accommodation. The sleeping alcove in our room (108 ?) does not have a window, so it was warm. There was also a lack of outlets for charging our phones and tablets. Had to unplug the TVs. Food at restaurant was good."

"This is a novelty choice that we thoroughly enjoyed. Where else can you say you’ve stayed at a hotel built in 1475 and reputedly hosted King Henry VIII? The front of the hotel looks very much from the Middle Ages and could use a refresh (if preservationists would allow it). The public house on the ground floor looks like it’s been serving patrons reliably for centuries and was full of life. Our extra large room was amazing with its stained glass windows overlooking the high street , and...

"Had a wonderful couple of nights at 8 Owls in Glastonbury. Lilija was super responsive and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the location next to the High Street and all the shops was great for us. Loved all of the Owls and other details around the property and the terrace at the top was a great bonus. Would definitely stay again."

"The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm."

"The property was absolutely lovely. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the main town of Glastonbury as it took a short drive to get there. The accommodation was very clean. Towels and linen provided and kitchen equipment was very good. Bed was very comfy and I loved the lighting in there. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend and when I go back I would love to stay there again "

"Stayed in the manor house although checked in at the Club reception. No restaurant open, just the Club cafe, which was disappointing. Huge room and huge, comfy bed with large bathroom."

"I was pleasantly surprised with my room after reading the reviews. I had one of the outside family rooms and it was big and comfortable. It served my purpose for what I needed perfectly. If you're fussy there are a few imperfections but it is good value for the price."
