"Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart...

"This hotel is a hidden gem. Breakfast is so delicious, love snorkeling at Kin ha every morning, beautiful property with great location."

"Don’t waste your money or your valuable vacation time on this hotel. The service was terrible! The woman checking people in couldn’t speak any English and upon arrival their credit card machine wasn’t working. It took us over 45 minutes waiting for her to troubleshoot the problem before she let us into the room. She also requested a deposit of $1000 in pesos or some form of identification to keep throughout our stay. We had just arrived and hadn’t obtained funds, so I was forced to give her my...

"The room and property was stunning and we had an unbelievable time. If you don’t stay here you’ll regret it!"

"Quite place jacuzzi tub is nice and nice breakfast and the staff is nice and friendly."

"Property was very nice minus the infinity pool and spas. The infinity pool did not work and was dirty. Spas worked intermittently. Food was very good and staff were awesome! We stayed in a junior suite and the presidential suite the last day - both were well maintained."

"I really liked the location. The hotel is located on the strip where you can shop and eat at really nice restaurants. People are kind and helpful. The beach is in walking distance. I have stayed there twice."

"Rocamar has everything. Location. Soothing waves. Pool. Beach down the street. Blow dryer. Safe. Great ac and water. Soap. Shampoo. I only mention because one of my other stays did not have that. This is a guaranteed go to. The view!!"
