Top Iseda Station Hotel Reviews

Uji Tea Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here 1 night for easy access to Nintendo Museum. Check in is 4pm and our reservation was 4.30, so we were worried it'd be a bit tight. We let the host know and the team were great at getting us checked in quickly and smoothly and set up for our museum trip.
Honestly we're a bit sad we only stayed 1 night! It feels like staying in someone's house and the local neighborhood is quiet but still has restaurants and shops nearby. Walking along the canal in the morning we had a lovely chat with a local. Wish we'd stayed more than 1 night so that we could get a feel for Ogura, which is close to Kyoto and Osaka, but still feels like staying where people live. Lovely little find this!"

"Comfortable clean room. We checked in via ipad at the property (no staff on site) and that was easy to do to get our room key. Very quiet neighborhood but also close to train station. Great stay."

Hotel Fine Garden Kyoto Minami

"Positives
Omg we must have booked this hotel by accident, but it was a good accident. It was the best hotel that we stayed at in Japan and the best sleep we had. The room was like a large flat which included a massage chair, a huge queen size bed, breakfast table and 3 fridges one which sells adult merchandise, I basic fridge and the other which has drinks and snacks to purchase. The bathroom was luxurious with expensive appliances including a television, and a jacuzzi bath and all the pampering that you could wish for. Oh, and don’t forget the toilet that washes and dry’s you. Also a huge tv with karaoke facilities.
Full Japanese cooked breakfast is included with the price that we paid for and was delicious, it is served in your room through a hatch at the time requested. Tea and coffee facilities and a microwave
This hotel is for adults only. With adult extras so …..
Negative - This hotel is located within a complex alongside other establishments providing similar services. There are no local shops in the immediate vicinity, and the train station can be reached with a walk of approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

Happy Inn Kyoto en-no-yado
10/10 Excellent
"This Kyoto hostel completely overturned my impression of local accommodations being typically cramped. Very clean and comfortable. High-quality beddings. The living room was surprisingly spacious—easily accommodating our big group with over ten large suitcases! Located near Fushimi Inari Shrine and Tofukuji Temple, it was very peaceful at night. We had brought thick bedding, worried that Kyoto might be cold, but the rooms were extremely comfortable. When we asked for more bowls, chopsticks, and a wok, the hostel readily provided—thank you so much! The hostel is also close to the station and surrounded by various small restaurants. A convenience store is only about a minute's walk away, which is very convenient. There's a waterway nearby, and at night, the streetlights reflected on the water create a breathtaking scene. Will come again if possible. "
