I had a great stay at this hotel.The location is excellent, just a short walk from concubine lane and the room was very clean and comfortable. Everything went smoothly and I really appreciated the convenience and cleanliness. I do recommend !

Good standard of hotel with breakfast included however although it is small and compact i would not call this a boutique. I had an issue on check in as the receptionist insisted on a cash payment for the new local tourist tax. As it wasnt a massive amount and I was tired i just paid it however on review it looks like expedia had collected this tax already. TBF apart from this, the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Very good strategic location near to old town but 10 minutes walking distance aparted. So that hotel is quiet enough. Reception manager who looks owner family was very friendly and kind. Quick response for several requests. Strong recommendation.

I give 5 stars to this hotel. Location is convenient. Easy to call Grab. Restaurants are located within 10min of walk. I recommend Restauron Ipoh 新怡保飯店 for dinner. Inside the room, clean, tidy and you have everything you need, tooth brush, tooth paste, coffee machines, nespresso capsule etc. air con is strong, bed is comfortable, can relax after a hot day’s walk. Breakfast is made to order, fresh and delicious. Staff are exceptional friendly. I stay in many 5-stars hotel but nobody like Bedrock who will bring you to the room and show you where the amenities are. Debbie, the hotel manager, is very friendly and helpful on any question you may have. I’m very happy with my stay here at Bedrock and will recommend to travelers in Ipoh.

The bedrock hotel is a great place to stay and Debbie the manager and all the staff are wonderful. The hotel is spotless and the breakfast was really nice. Good choice of western and Malaysian and buffet. If you visit Ipoh this is the place to stay

Little treasure in Ipoh

An amazing little treasure in Ipoh! I'm so glad to have found this fascinating boutique hotel owned by Debbie and her husband. She gave us a warm welcome and was so helpful with everything. The nasi lemak and white coffee at breakfast was super shiok too! It's close to the old town, and there are lots of food options all around. I highly recommend the Bedrock Hotel if you're travelling to Ipoh.
